Jefferson County Local Development Corporation - Emergency Working Capital Grant/Loan Program. This program provides businesses with less than 20 FTE employees and opportunity to apply for up to $10,000. Up to 25% of the loan amount may be forgiven. See the website for more information. APPLY SOON!

The Small Business Owner's Guide to the CARES Act The programs and initiaitives in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act are intended to assist business owners with whatever needds they have right now. There will be many new resources available for small businesses, as well as certain non-profits and other employers. ANCA Local Food System Security Grant - DUE April 10, 2020 This program offers awards of $2,500 - $25,000 for projects that aim to enhance food and farm security in the region.
American Farmland Trust Farmer Relief Fund - Due April 23, 2020,
AFT’s Farmer Relief Fund will award farmers with cash grants of up to $1,000 each to help them weather the current storm of market disruptions caused by the coronavirus crisis. Initially, eligible applicants include any small and mid-size direct-market producers. These are defined as producers with annual gross revenue of between $10,000 and $1 million from sales at farmers markets and/or direct sales to restaurants, caterers, schools, stores, or makers who use farm products as inputs.
North Country Alliance COVID-19 Emergency Business Relief Program -
The North Country Alliance’s COVID-19 Emergency Business Relief Program was created to provide businesses, located in the NCA service region, with short-term relief and access to working capital in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. This program will utilize UDC working capital funds. Funds will remain available for this program at the discretion of the NCA. Agribusiness is eligible to apply for this loan program.
